About Me

Hi there,

My name is Alex and I am founder of Feelosophy, a safe place for women to grow in health and confidence as they learn to accept themselves fully and become the best version of themselves.

I’m hugely passionate about all things wellness and love sharing this passion with like-minded women.

For over a decade now I have poured most of my time and energy into learning everything I can about living a healthy lifestyle. I love experimenting with what can take me to the next level in terms of fitness, mindset and happiness and this has gradually built over time to encompass most of my hobbies.

One of my biggest passions in life is fitness and sport. I crave sweating as much as I do my favourite foods (which is a lot)! I played football (soccer to my American friends) for most of my life and have more recently taken up kickboxing. I’ve been doing this for a year and a half and now I’m training to be a kickboxing instructor with Elite Ladies Kickboxing; a journey I am so excited about! Amongst this, I love running, weighted HIIT routines and yoga. I’m a huge fan of YouTube videos for daily fitness.

Another fascination of mine is nutrition. I have always been passionate about food but mostly in eating it! It’s only in the last 5 years that I’ve become really interested in what foods nourish me for good performance in my fitness and in life. I’ve found a direct correlation with my mood and energy because of the way I eat and this intrigues me so much. I love the exploration of healthy eating. I am mostly gluten free and have been vegetarian for a year. My goal in 2021 is to embark on the journey of going vegan. See my All Things Nutrition page to read more.

If I’m not working, exercising, cooking or eating, you’ll find me doing Qigong, meditating, reading a book, listening to a podcast or enjoying a walk in nature. That or getting snug on the sofa with a duvet and a good film or documentary.

For as long as I can remember, I have been utterly fascinated by the way the mind works and what we can accomplish when we’re fuelling our mind and bodies right. This is mostly because I was SO bad at it when I was younger, but I won’t get into that here.

For now, you just need to know that I am a normal 35 year old but with some weird quirks like waking up really early at the weekends and occasional running in the winter when it’s dark and raining (I try to tell people that it’s actually not that bad but they look at me like I’m weirder if I defend it).

I really hope that I can get to know you too and find out what it is about wellness that interests you. I love learning about other people’s journeys and what they’re working on. Go to my Contact page to connect.

My Mission

My mission is to help young women who struggle with direction and self-care.

In our modern society, I think that we are pulled in many directions and it is insanely hard to stay grounded and true to ourselves. We often spend so much of our time taking care of other people’s needs that we neglect our own. Our own health takes a back seat.

I want to help support and inspire young women who are so used to following other people’s expectations of who they think they “should be” that they have lost what it means to truly be themselves. I want to help them rekindle that side of themselves which is dying to come out. To help them overcome the daily pain of self-doubt and frustration so that they can finally live confidently by their own values and enjoy a guilt-free and purposeful life.

Everyone has the right and ability to live a happy, fulfilling and healthy life.

If you’re interested in working together, check out my Work With Me page for more details on how to start.

My Training

I am a certified Holistic Wellness Coach through the IAWP; CCE Accredited by the International Coach Federation and approved by the UK Health Coaches Association.

Becoming a Wellness Coach has been such an amazing adventure. I joined the IAWP with the intention of getting out of a rut but I got so much more. I have grown so much in my knowledge of holistic health but also in my own self awareness and strength. If you are interested in the idea of becoming a wellness coach yourself, visit the link below to find out more about the program which IAWP offers.

Please feel free to contact me to ask any questions about my experience.
